Easter comes in great style for Busia County farmers - courtesy of Mama Florence

 

The Busia County Women Representative Mama Florence Mutua-Mainga has launched OPERATION ANGAMIZA NJAA via a FOOD SECURITY drive that has seen her criss cross the entire county over the past few days.

The rainy and planting season thus could not have come at a better moment fo our farmers, as Mama Florence met women groups in all the 35 wards in the County and distributed maize seedlings 

This is a very timely and appropriate intervention as agriculture is indeed the backbone of the Busia County economy

Songs , praise, jubilation and chants of “Mama ni mmoja – Mama ni Florence”  characterized the entire seeds distribution exercise
