A peep into the life of Hellen Mukanda - one of the front runners for the Busia Women Rep seat 2017

                                          Hellen Mukanda needs no introduction

She was the frontrunner in the 2013 elections, she had done her ground work well, but she alongside other UDF members eg Eng.Sidai, suffered a setback when Amani Coalition attempted to rope in TNA, which was at the moment extremely unpopular in Busia County.

Now she is back, more wiser this time round and  she has fully emersed herself in community projects

She has initiated several broiler and layer chicken projects - that are indeed a source of livelihood for local women groups

Her participation in community enlightenment and empowerment remains in top gear
